Weekly Roundup #19

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. Big new tunes from Telebox, Billie Eilish and more.

House On Fire - Telebox

Indie rock band, Telebox, have dropped a new single ahead of their upcoming EP ‘When The Night Turns Into Day’. Dynamic and engaging as ever, this track is an electrifying indie bop. If you’re fans of The Academic, thank us later.

Full article/review coming soon.

L’AMOUR DE MA VIE - Billie Eilish

Eilish has returned, with no singles or publicity. A simple album release, with a coherent storyline weaved together across 10 immaculate tracks.

An impressive highlight was L’AMOUR DE MA VIE, a heartfelt love song blending ear-worm vocals and a change-up to experimental dance by the end. Take the plunge and enjoy.

Heaven - The National

Over the past few months, we’ve seen artists everywhere collaborating on what appears to be a tribute to Talking Heads. What started with Paramore has made its way through some of the biggest bands in the world. The National’s cover of Heaven is a recent addition and is a wonderful take on a classic.

Boom Boom Back - Hinds & Beck

The crossover we never knew we needed until now, Hinds and Beck have perfected something glorious with Boom Boom Back. It seems whatever Beck touches turns to gold dust, and this is no exception. The Spanish / American collaboration won’t be leaving your head, listen at your own risk. It’s a golden tune.

What Do You Want From This? - Peach Fuzz

Hailing from Melbourne, indie rock band Peach Fuzz dropped an impressive 70’s inspired bop. Jangly, floaty and bubbly, it’s a tune that’ll see us right through to Summer. Let it light up your playlists with sunshine. If you’re into English Teacher at the moment, here’s a similar artist you’d absolutely adore.

Now, it’s your turn. Give it a spin, and tell us what you think on Insta or X.

See you next week!
