Weekly Roundup #50

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Beaten By The Witch - In Crooked Wonderment

After a huge year for the band, In Crooked Wonderment are entering 2025 with their heaviest and perhaps their best offering. Beaten By The Witch continues the gothic storytelling of predecessor Burn The Heretic, but demonstrates a humongous step-up production-wise.

Nothing Higher - HIMALAYAS

Cardiff’s latest rock band HIMALAYAS have returned with a new banger: Nothing Higher. There’s noticeable inspiration coming from Nothing But Thieves or Royal Blood. You’ll want to turn this one up, as it shakes your speakers.

Let You In - WizTheMC

WizTheMC is unstoppable. His combination of hip-hop, rap and indie pop is blissful. Let You In is no different, building on his crafted sound. If you can catch him touring, don’t miss out.

2005 - South Arcade

Speaking about unstoppable, South Arcade has had a momentous 2024 and already rearing to go for an even bigger 2025. Their Y2K aesthetic has seen them claim a main-stage spot at Reading and Leeds, backed by their huge EP ‘2005’. The title track is exactly what it says on the tin, full to the brim of early 00s influences mixed with a modern twist.

POP POP POP - IDLES (ft. Danny Brown)

When POP POP POP dropped earlier in the year with TANGK, it was an impressive track. The beat left something in the air, an opening for collaboration or expansion. IDLES have done just that, allowing Danny Brown to freestyle. This new version adds a whole new dimension, and we love it - more collaborations, please?
