Weekly Roundup #55 31 Jan Written By Charlie Wright Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment. Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning? Basic Being Basic - Djo After the phenomenal cult-hit End Of Beginning, Djo is back kicking off his new album campaign The Crux. The latest track is a clear evolution in sound while sticking to his indie influences. Arm’s Length - Sam Fender We’re losing words to describe how well-put-together Sam Fender’s new record will be. While the riff-in is strangely familiar to a quick Turner melody on Live Lounge, it’s another solid track in an already impressive collection for his soon-to-be award-winning third album. Heartbreaker - The Lathums Hailing from Wigan, The Lathums have stolen the nation’s hearts time and time again. As they gear up for their new record, Heartbreaker has dropped. It’s quite the contrast to previous single Long Shadows, and offers a more optimistic sound. Burnout Days - flipturn The long-awaited sophomore album from flipturn arrived last week. Burnout Days, the title track is a stunning example of why this Florida-based band have sold out shows all the way in the UK. Let’s Leave Together - Circa Waves Catchy whistle? Fun melody? Summer anthem? Circa Waves have ticked every box with the latest track Let’s Leave Together, a song which will surely bring euphoria to their upcoming UK and EU tour. Who were your favourites?
