Weekly Roundup #35

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup.

Out Of This World - Alexandra Leaving

Out Of This World is the latest from rising indie star Alexandra Leaving. On first listen, this could be her best single. It’s bursting with a gnarly guitar riff, largely reminiscent of The Amazons or Crawlers. The intoxication feels palpable through every note. Check out our full coverage here.

Stockholm - KID BRUNSWICK

This is it. KID BRUNSWICK’s final EP is out, marking the finale of his incredible project. One of our favourites from the EP is Stockholm, predominantly down to the new sounds it introduces into his palette. Give it a spin now.

Do It Badly - THANK

Hailing from Leeds, THANK have recently announced their debut album. To celebrate the release, they’ve dropped Do It Badly. A cracking punk-rock tune, we’re mad for it.

Let’s Go Back - Jungle

After a phenomenal year, following the success of the award-winning Volcano and a monumental set at Glastonbury, the electronic outfit dropped a surprise single. Let’s Go Back is beautiful and feels like an outtake from their most recent record that deserved a moment to shine.

Under The Table - Balancing Act

After falling in love with She Plays The Theremin, which we praised highly, the Manchester quartet has since released two singles. The latest is Under The Table, an indie rock song full of swagger and groove. Throwing in a guitar solo for good measure tops it all off. What a tune.
