On The Meadow is a vibrant, grassroots-based, indie music festival taking place over one day at Walthamstow's Signature Brewery (19th July 2025).
The festival is entering its second year, after a successful debut in 2024. Leo Gerchen (frontman of Emergency Break) and GoToBeat are curating the day, and have hand-picked a stellar lineup including major headliners Larkins and The Kairos.
Larkins are an alt-pop four-piece, and are no stranger to putting on a performance. Their wall-to-wall shows, with fans singing every word, showcase the stratospheric rise of a band on the cusp of a rocketing global profile; with a hit-making flare ready-made for the indie dance floor and international airwaves.
The Kairos are fresh from touring with The Reytons, and are an emerging force of talent on the indie scene with enormous tracks Suspend and Keep It On The Low.
As festival curators, Emergency Break will also storm the bill and bring the confident antics that make their shows memorable and powerful. In 2024, the London group released their two biggest singles to date CAN YOU FEEL IT and EVERYTHING YOU MAKE I BREAK, and followed them with HOMETOWN this year.
Elsewhere, you can expect a variety of exciting artists including Saint Clair, Artaca, Stereo Cupid, Harri Larkin, Archangels, Mega Sun Machine, Chris Daley, Fraser Morgan, Leo, Tom MCQ, Indie Cult Club (DJ) and Mark Stuart (DJ) with more to be announced soon.
In the press, festival curator Leo expresses:
“I hope that by keeping ticket costs low and making the day a 16+ event it will inspire and energise young musicians to become the bigger stars of the future"
