Nothing But Thieves have dropped the Deluxe Edition to their huge album Dead Club City, which includes new singles along with acoustic variations. While discussing another track on the new album version ‘Oh No…’, we explained how these are some of the best tracks from the DCC, and this one is no exception. This Is Nowhere - The Black Keys
The Black Keys have been nothing short of active since returning to the scene in 2019 after a long hiatus. With a new album on the way, ‘This Is Nowhere’ is everything you know and love from the Ohio-duo, but with a maturity of sound. It truly sounds like they’re back to their ways of making music they love, and it shines through everytime.
Basht - Wild Horses
Today, the hyped Dublin five-piece dropped their hotly anticipated debut EP, Dirty White Lies. One of the biggest tracks is ‘Wild Horses’, a prodigious and spiralling masterpiece which some of the biggest rock bands would kill for.
Radiosoul - Alfie Templeman
Dreamy, spacey and gorgeous. Alfie Templeman may have taken a break, but he’s now on a groovy album campaign with second single ‘Radiosoul’. Everything is much more woozy than previously, think Still Woozy, Bad Sounds and Peach Pit. This is another colourful tune from Alfie, and one that deserves a spot in your playlists.
Down Swinging - Holly Humberstone
While on tour, Holly Humberstone has been dropping old demos, which have now formed the ‘work in progress’ EP. A striking and emotional body of work, that’ll be sure to please her most loyal fans everywhere. In classic Humberstone style, it’s heartbreaking and follows themes of toxicity and love. If you’re a fan, and need a cry, now’s the time. Our highlight is ‘Down Swinging’, there’s a Sam Fender vibe here.
