Weekly Roundup #47

Welcome to Roundup, showcasing the freshest tunes at the moment.

Another week, another roundup. What are you spinning?

Five Hundred - MAGNOLIA

Shattering prodigious instrumental gifts, gathering the shards and constructing a frenzied form of ‘experimental post-rock from God's womb’, MAGNOLIA return with their third single. The electric new band have been ticking off venues all over London over the last year, and it won’t be long until you’re obsessed too.

easy - shinyhunt

Hailing from Copenhagen, shinyhunt has recently dropped their sophomore album ‘sea-salt ice cream’. Their music sounds big, and is bursting with emotion; exploring how to find solace and comfort on the edge of youth. One of our favourites ‘easy’ has been spinning lately, and we recommend a full listen.

Fig Tree - Chloe Slater

She might be one of the new ‘big stars’ in female indie pop, alongside Holly Humberstone. Chloe Slater is powering through the hits in 2024, and her latest offering Fig Tree (which looks inwards) is another example of her growing talent.

desktop - SOFY

After a huge guest slot with Alfie Templeman recently, upcoming star SOFY has announced her upcoming mixtape and tour. The latest track from the new bunch is desktop, which prompted plenty of computer emojis all across socials. It seems SOFY is on a indie-pop streak at the moment, unleashing nothing but bangers.

It Ain’t Easy - ROLLA

Want to take a trip down memory lane? ROLLA'‘s latest single It Ain’t Easy combines the rock’n’roll spirit of the early 00’s with rambunctious lyrics. They may be relatively new to the scene, but there’s a promise in each and every single - that they’re on a mission to become big.
